An impressive range of sponsorship opportunities is available and we invite you to join us as we make our mark on Brighton’s colourful and engaging festival calendar

1

Align your organisation with an innovative, high quality, reputable and accessible event

BIFC2020 will be organised by Surrey Music. Under the leadership of our Festival Director, Cliff van Tonder BCAa, Surrey Music has vast experience of organising large, upscale and exciting choral events and a proven track record of bringing innovative ideas to fruition. This festival will be open to adult choral groups and ensembles of all abilities and genres.
2

Reach a UK- and worldwide audience

Capitalising on the global demand for such festivals, we will be marketing BIFC2020 on choral forums and platforms around the UK and the world from December 2019. We anticipate attendance from around 30 choirs from the UK, Europe and as far away as Russia and China* and as a sponsor your brand will be highly visible nationally and internationally.
3

An opportunity for employees to be involved in a rewarding community project

We recognise that the best ambassadors for the city are the people who live, work and study there. We aim to draw on this experience and will be seeking volunteers to help for the duration of the festival and would welcome involvement from your company employees
4

Demonstrate your commitment to Brighton’s local trade and cultural brand

We will support Brighton’s tourism industry by working with existing businesses to offer a variety of cost-effective trips and experiences for our visitors, encouraging and enabling them to fully immerse themselves in the rich heritage and individuality of the city.
5

Support the aims of Brighton’s Visitor and Economy Strategy

BIFC2020 will have a positive impact on the two thematic strengths of the Brighton “brand” – those of Culture and Wellness. We will be supporting the mental health charity MIND Brighton and Hove by donating a portion of any profit made and raising awareness of the charity. By enabling those who live, work and study in Brighton to experience and enjoy choral music from other nations as well as our own, we are providing an opportunity to broaden horizons, and become more internationally engaged.
6

Opportunity for long-term involvement and investment

BIFC2020 is just the start. The BIFC will be an annual event and offers the opportunity for continuity, increased brand awareness and recognition, and room for further involvement with the anticipated introduction of a second annual choral festival within a few years.
