THIS is where the world's choirs will meet in 2022

Brighton. Vibrant. Colourful. Culturally and artistically diverse. Cosmopolitan. Where tradition meets contemporary.

Welcome to the first Brighton International Festival of Choirs! What better place to sing your heart out than in Brighton - the UK's most popular tourist destination - renowned for its diverse communities, quirky shopping areas, large thriving cultural, music and arts scene. Brighton attracts over 8.5 million visitors annually and boasts some of the best venues for choral singing and performance.

Now the site of several iconic contemporary landmarks, Brighton has a rich and royal history. Brighton was first developed in the Georgian era as a highly fashionable seaside resort, encouraged by the patronage of the Prince Regent (later King George IV), who spent much time in the town and constructed the fabulous Royal Pavilion as a seaside pleasure palace during the early part of his Regency. Many of the major attractions were built during the Victorian era, including the Grand Hotel, the West Pier, and the Brighton Palace Pier which is a must-visit during your stay here.

Breathe in the sea air as you stroll along the promenade, lose yourself in the quaint shops and tiny streets of The Lanes, wonder in awe at the grandeur of the Royal Pavilion and enjoy breath-taking views from Brighton’s newest and highest attraction - the British Airways i-360 – not forgetting of course to experience for yourself one of Britain’s greatest gastronomic delights - fish and chips! (British vegetarian and vegan options available too).

Your choir is invited!

25offWe cordially invite choirs from the UK and around the world to visit our culturally-rich city and toshow off their singing talents, either in a competitive or non-competitive setting.

Choirs can compete in their chosen categories for a ÂŁ1,000 cash prize (in each category) with a free choice of repertoire.

With London just an hour away, Brighton is the perfect location for your choir’s next tour - so don't delay, register today.
